Qi Han
Qi Han graduated with a Bachelor's degree in optical information science and technology from Dalian University of Technology in 2017. During her undergraduate study, she took part in a project using surface enhanced Raman Spectroscopy to realise serum test, from which she found her interest in exploring conventional diagnosis technology of diseases. After graduation, she became a graduate student at Washington University in St. Louis and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2019. She gained knowledge related to image processing and its potential clinical applications during that period.
Due to her former study experience, she decided to make an effort to develop conventional imaging technique as well as apply this technology to medical diagnosis and treatment.
Thus, her research interest mainly focuses on developing photoacoustic endomicroscopy probe which is applied to tumor tissue imaging.
Project: Photoacoustic endomicroscopy probe for guiding neurosurgical procedures
