Zicong graduated from Imperial College London with an MRes degree in Medical Robotics and Image-Guided Intervention in 2019. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham in 2016.
His research interests are about sensing, navigation, and control on flexible robots including continuum robots and soft robots. Currently, he is working on developing a robotic system to perform the intervention of the ductal networks based on soft growing robots.
