The aim of this project is to develop a physical head and neck simulator as a training tool for clinicians performing procedures including TORS. The inclusion of modular elements will allow the simulator to be multi-purpose and patient specific, with a material that allows cauterisation in order to simulate the full procedure in totality. The simulator will be developed using medical imaging, CAD, additive manufacturing and material science to ensure high-fidelity, and iteratively developed utilising clinicians’ feedback, to fill a clinical training gap.
