Striving to improve healthcare for millions
The Hinduja Foundation UK is delighted to be able to make a philanthropic donation of £3,000,000 to King’s to support full PhD studentships…in healthcare technologies at the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences. Part of the Hinduja – King’s Health Partners Academy, these funds will be directed to students domiciled in India to the benefit of healthcare in both the UK and India.
Could you be one of our Hinduja Scholars?
Thanks to the generosity of the Hinduja Foundation UK, we are looking to recruit 10 Hinduja Scholars over the next 5 years to be part of our mission to engineer innovation in surgery and intervention.
Our Hinduja Scholars will be aligned with the EPSRC CDT in Advanced Engineering for Personalised Surgery & Intervention undertaking fully funded doctoral research guided by our world-class supervisors.
4-year PhD studentships include:
- Stipend: a tax-free living allowance of £23,237 per year (AY 2024/25)
- Fees: coverage of international fees
- RTSG: up to £20,000 over 4 years for research consumables and attending national and international conferences.
We are now accepting applications for June 2025 and October 2025.
