John graduated from the University of Sheffield with an MEng in General Engineering specialising in Medical Technologies. In his first year with the CDT, he is undertaking a MRes in Healthcare Technologies with a focus on medical robotics and medtech. John’s research focuses on the design of a comprehensive surgery simulator for open cardiothoracic surgery. John’s research interests include the design and manufacture of biomaterials and medical robotics.
