Weiyuan holds a BSc in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from Sun Yat-sen University in China, a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in US, and a MRes in Healthcare Technologies at King’s College London. With two years of industrial experience as a SLAM algorithm engineer, her research interests span reinforcement learning, deep learning, and computer vision. Weiyuan’s PhD focuses on developing artificial intelligence method for autonomous navigation in endovascular intervention to ensure safer and more effective procedures.
